Lightning Update: A New Project, and Other Speedy Musings

Hello beautiful readers! I hope everyone is having a great night. Please excuse the late post, but I wanted to give an update, and I am a night owl after all.

Now that I have consistent readers completely separate from my Facebook page, I’d like to keep everyone updated instead of leaving my blog readers suspended in the void awaiting new content.

That being said, I am beginning a new big project that will take quite a few hours of work.

I love sharing my creative process on the blog, and that happens to be content that performs best on here, so it’s a win-win for me.

I don’t want to keep you in too much suspense, so I hope you’re ready for a deep dive into my writing process.

We’re going to be starting a new book, together. I’ll walk you through the entire beginning process. From how I keep my book ideas organized, to how I choose a project, to how I get started, to my goal-lists, theme choices, characters, worldbuilding, and the first few chapters.

My lore posts have been a huge hit, and I’m so glad that you all like them and are eager for more of my storytelling. That being said, I may have to keep the actual depth of the plot under wraps a little bit, to avoid spoiling the bigger lore beats of my world, as all of it is ingrained quite heavily in Feiradyr.

This “book beginnings walkthrough” is going to be quite a honker of a project. I’m keeping it all in one post, because I have enough series’ already and I don’t want to overwhelm either myself or you all.

My current book edits are still ongoing, and this project also serves as a short reprieve from that particular torture.

I don’t want to divulge too much here, as this is meant to be a lightning update after all.
